Washington...

Well we made it to Washington! About 11 hours after leaving Rexburg on Friday we are here, and it has been a non-stop happening since we got here. We went the wrong way first off, and went to West Yellowstone and then back up to Butte Montana. Well we went about 2 hours off track but it was good. A pretty. drive. When we got here on Friday night about 9:00 p.m., we went up to Juan's sister's Ana and suprised her. She thought we were gonna go up there on Saturday. So what do we do? Of course rock out with or origianl band members. Miss Annie, Alise, Nuno, and Don PePe! Thats our rock names anyways! Was ok except for their T.V. was off of the notes so you couldn't hit the notes good. Spent the night there, went to his uncles the next day in Royal City, and then back to Ana's for a surpise from his other sister, Maria and her boyfriend from Portland. SO that was fun. We were going to spend the night again but kids and everyone were too loud for our boys to sleep, so we left. Went to church on Sunday, took naps, relaxed and then Maria came over again and we played volleyball until dark and came inside and played Dominos. Tonight you ask? FHE? Thier all coming down again and having a wienie roast, smores and volleyball again! Party on! Were here until September so should be worn out by then. have a good summer everyone!

I hope that the traveling does good. We got DVD players for the boys to watch so hopefully they will do good. I know thier little but Damon LOVES LOVES LOVES movies. WE try and get in front of him and he's smart enough to know to move side to side to see the T.V. We got lots of movies and toys to play with. Were taking our bikes with us also so that should be fun at the Columbia Park to ride around. Im excited to ride with Heather, my sister-in-law also. SO mcuh fun! Well wish us luck on the way home, or vacation! Whoot Whoot! "On the road again..."

All About Damon!

So Damon has decided these past few days that he wants to be big! Not that he isn't already big, but he's made some GREAT progress! Im so proud of him! Well we had his EEG report this morning. He does have some abnormal things happening when he's sleeping on the left side of the brain, in the front center area. Which explains why his left side works so much better. The right side of the brain works the left side. So that was new, but I knew that he would have abnormal findings, so not much news to me. The doctor explained them as "sparks" going on. He's got his own fireworks show going on for him. Ok not like. So all in all, he is at a potential to have seizures if not already having them. Seizures are so different in so many ways, so whether to tell or not, who knows. We'll go in and have a checkup when we get back from Washington. So while we were waiting in the waiting room at the Dr.'s I was clapping with Keenan and Damon was in the chair across from us. He then starts to clap with us. Not a hand to hand clap, but a fist to fist. He knew what he was doing, cause he was excited he was doing it. And he did it again in the car ride home when I asked him to clap! He's also decided that he likes food again. He wierd. He will go in spurts but it has been like 7-8 months since he's wanted to eat "real" food. He would put it in his mouth and just leave it there but he's actaully swallowing and somewhat putting his lip down to close on the spoon. For those that know Damon, this is a great accomplishment on its own. He loves to "crunch" as we tell him. "Damon want to crunch?" He opens his mouth so you can put something in there for him to "crunch" on such as the little puffs. Well just had to brag how he's doing. Take care everyone! Count your blessings! All of them.

It's the FINAL countdown!

The final week is here! This is Juan's last week in his 1st semester at BYU-Idaho. It seems like we just got here. It's just flying by. These 2 years that were going to be here are gonna be gone in a flash. Were trying to take it all in and enjoy our time here. This week's gonna be a fast week. Juan's got finals in a couple of his classes but doesn't have to take the final in his Architecture class because he's gotten A's on all his other tests. So he was way excited about that. On Friday were leaving for Washington to spend the 7 week break over there and Juan's going to work with my dad. We can make more money over there for sure and you can't beat that's where all the families at. His and my side, so it should be a party the whole time were there. Seth can't wait for JUAN to get there. He doesn't seem to miss me any. Him and Juan became XBox buddies before we left and it's been killing Seth to not have a co-op player. They already have the plan when we get there on Friday, Juan's heading over. I won't be going because Heather's going to see her sister. We are excited to go back and go see that things probably haven't changed much. Good Job Juan for finishing the semester off great! Love you!

Small World

So this last week we found out that this world is smaller than we think. We had a couple that lived below us that we became good friends with now. They're from Japan. When my mom and dad came into town and we were all talking at the Fire works, She asked where they were from. Chris said where he was from and it was I guess where she had gone because my uncle went on his mission there and then went back after. Well she calls my uncle and he says that he knows them and so Chris asked his dad and he remebers my uncle, along with my aunt too. Small world huh?

Damon's EEG

Damon had his EEG today in Idaho Falls. It was a 7:00 am appointment and they have to be sleep deprived so they will sleep during it. So he was up unitl about 12:20 last night and got up at 4:00am, and I was up with him during both. So we were both exhausted. He fell asleep right at the beginning and so did I! He slept all the way through it and then on the way home, and a couple hours when we got home. Poor boy was so tired. Juan stayed with Keenan and when I got home, I slept also. It felt great! I go next week to have the reading. Stay tuned!

All good things must come to an end??

Could it be any more true?! After a great 4 day weekend, and having a great 4th of July, we came home from Colby's yesterday to go ride our bikes to the park, and va va voom! Juan, where's your bike?? uhh... maybe the neighbors are riding it.. NOPE!! gone! without a trace. AHH!! that's an expensive bike and I hope some random criminal is enjoying it. Our fault, it wasn't locked up and niether was mine, but it had the bike buggie on it, and it's a girl bike? Well last night about 11:15p.m. or so, I look outside from our bedroom and there a car in a getaway position outside of my driveway! umm??? were they coming back for my bike? haha... it's in the neighbors garage now. And not coming out until we leave for home.

3rd and 4th of July Fun

So on the 3rd of july, Rigby Lake was having a fireworks show so we went to that. We weren't sure how it was going to be just because Rigby isn't the biggest, but it was GREAT! It lasted about 40 minutes long and it also had a screen that had a little movie that went along with the music and lyrics. It was all about the Independance and what not. It was neat. Our family went a little earlier, about 6:00 and Colby and Trisha met us, and then Jason and Karen.

Here is the Big screen that they had on the other side of the little lake. It was a good place to have fireworks because everyspot was good.

The boys were glued to the fireworks! I don't know if Keenan blinked at all. Damon was a little scared at first and was stiff throughout the whole thing but eventually didn't jump when they made the loud "boom" as Noah would say! So cute!

Here we are on the actual 4th of July in Idaho Falls. Colby and Trisha are blessing thier baby this weekend so we talked my parents into coming for the 4th. So here we are, Juan and I with Keenan, my dad, with Elijah, Colby, Trisha and Noah, and our friends, Chris and Kai Peterson holding Damon!

Neurology Appt.

So Damon had a neurology appt. in Idaho Falls today. It went great actually! The Dr. spent with us like an hour! That doesn't ever happen. We're going in next week for an EEG to check everything out. I took one of our neighbors that lived downstairs, Kae, (KI) she's from Japan, to help me with the two boys. It's just getting too hard to handle them both. Neither want to be in the stroller when we get places and I can't hold them both! She was an absolute lifesaver! If she wasn't there I don't know what I would have done. Gone crazy maybe? Well were going to go see a GI doctor also, (checks the tummy area out) and that's in Salt Lake! Kira, here we come! Sometime in the near future anyways. We decided to go to Win Co while we were there and let me tell you, I felt like I was in Kennewick again. Set up the same, some food in different places but for the most part, I was "home" No Broulim's today! So I took Kae to Jack in the Box cause she had never had curly fries before nor did she know what they were! SO.. reaction?? "oh these are fun, I'm going to keep one so I can take a picture of it. It's going in my e-mail home!" She's so funny. She's a great person and loves the boys! I just can't get enough of this place. We love it here and are so blessed. Couldn't ask for anything better. For FHE last night, we rode on our bikes to the temple and talk about a work out! Up hill half the way! We took turns but wow! When we made it, Juan said, that was like us a long time ago, struggling to be together, and now that every thing's right, we cruise along in life now! Great huh? that's the latest from here, gotta get the house together, a little, realtor's coming to show the house, and Damon's got therapy at 4:00!

Rigby Lake

So this last Saturday we went to Rigby Lake with Colby and Trisha, and Jason and Karon, (our cousins). It was so much fun to get out and see the water, although I didn't get in only my feet wet. So... I have kids to watch, that was my excuse! I love the water, but since I have become a grimmy a fobic, I'll stick with the swimming pool for now! WE had a BBQ and enjoyed ourselves. Earlier in the day we had an enrichment at Porter park in the wooded area and I felt like I was 12 again going to girls camp and doing crafts. Only I had two boys with me at first, until Juan came and picked them up after he got done taking a test. Well I hope you enjoy some new pictures.
