Damon has been sick today with the flu. Poor little guy gets everything that goes around. His immune system is just not strong! It doesn't make matters any better that he can't do anything for himself. I wish that I could do more for him, but I can't. He just wants to be cuddly all day and have me hold him. Not a productive day today, but that's OK. I hope you feel better soon baby!

A Day at the Zoo
So Saturday we decided to go the zoo in Idaho Falls with Colby and Trisha. Before hand we had a picnic at the huge park right beside it. It was great to get out and go relax a little. It turned out to be a fun day. It's not a big zoo but good enough for how hot it was. The boys were red and I think they got a little tan out of it. Pretty good! After we got done at the zoo, we ended up going home and called on an window AC that was listed in the bulletin board. Well we got a steal of a deal, and its almost brand new! Awesome and so exciting! It gets so hot in the later afternoon because we have big windows. It will be nice for the boys not to have to suffer.

Summer has approached... For now
Oh how I love the sunshine! But it's so hot it seems like! Its perfect to just sit out and lay, but what fun is that? I was itch in' to get out and do some yard work! I love being outside. The kids love it as well. I just move them wherever I go and they just love to watch what I do. I'm like a "mom" to them! I love it! They look up to you.
This morning, Trisha called me and asked me if I wanted to go over and plant the garden finally. So by 9:30 I was over there and we planted for about an hour until I had to leave and take Damon to therapy. Juan had an eye appt. and got new glasses and he was done as I was going to therapy so he took Keenan and put him down for a nap. Its so nice having only one baby to haul in. When he got home, I asked the neighbor if I could use their lawnmower so I went and got gas, and some oil for it. The lawn looks so great now! Its so green and full.
Good note about therapy. They say that Everything is great on Damon, its just going to be maintaining it, and getting his body to work how it should. Trent, (my cousin, also the PT) said that he think he'll be crawling when they get done with him! Another thing that may have been a great move to come here. They are so good! He going to be having therapy 4x a week. I know that's a lot, but right now is his development age, and all the early intervention he can get is best fo him.
Keenan thinks he can crawl! He's almost there. when I go into the kitchen or something and come back five minutes later, he's on the other side of the room! Its so much fun to see. He's going to be such a great little big brother!

After talking to tax people
So I thought I would call today and see why we didn't our full amount. We got the correct amount. Reasoning, we didn't pay any out in taxes and we got everything back, so therefore, we don't get it. The lady said they didn't make it very clear when they were talking about it. Hey money's money. Better than nothing I have to say!

Stimulus payment, a letdown...
So while I was waiting for Juan at the dentist today, I decided to call and check if our stimulus payment was there. Ya WHO! it was... only one problem, we didn't get the amount I thought we were going to get. ergh... So I did some research, and it said, $1200 for filing married together, and an additional $300 for each child qualifying for child tax credit. Well, we didn't get the child tax credit, but we got the additional child tax credit. I don't know what the difference is, and its making me mad. $600 dollars is a lot to me! What a pain! anyways, had to vent.

What a day....
So here I am at 10:00 p.m. and just getting my house to back to normal. I am so worn out by the end of the day that I just wanna relax, and then around 9:00 or so, I'm ready to atleast get a few things put into place. The days are long, and when the boys don't want to take naps, the days seem even longer. I am raedy for a break from them by mid-day, and usually thats when they take a nap together. But the last few days, not so. Well I guess yesterday it was that way except for the exception that Damon was lying next to me. But I did get to see a movie. P.S. I love you. It's pretty good, but kinda slow. I don't know. I can already imagine my day tommorow. Both the boys have Dr. appts, and Keenan has shots to get. So the typical thing is going to happen. Keenan's gonna get to play with the Dr, Damons gonna get mad, wanna get out, start crying, then I have two boys crying, and eveyone looking at me. Lately Damon has really been getting harder and harder to hold. He's just to big and when he gets mad, he stiffens up and throws himself back. I keep thinking about getting a wheel chair of some sort, but how different would it be then the stroller? He wouldn't want to be in it either. Up just out of energy as to what to do with him next. He's getting therapy things getting back and in order, but not sure when thier going to start. So thats a little about my day. Sorry for these boring and not exciting things. But it's kinda a journal thing for me.

Rockin' it Out
So we've had Rock Band for quite a few months now, but its just not as fun with only 2 people. So now that were living the so called, "college life" as married people, its so much fun. Tonight Juan and I, Colby and Trisha, and Jason and Karen were all here playing! We've already got it planned for next week, to make a tour out of it. Once you get into it, it's like OK, one more song, one more song, and before you know it, its been about 5 more. So fun! We have a drum set, guitar, and a microphone. We were definitely rocking it out for sure!
This past weekend has been pretty fun. Out little family all went to Wal-mart and grocery shopping on Saturday, and then had babysitter ready to go at about 3:30. We went and watched Iron Man. I recommend it to anyone! It was awesome. Then we chatted with our neighbors, the babysitters, and we decided we wanted to try the pita pit. Never had been. We have a starving student card, and on there, there's a buy one get one, so we went. It was pretty good. Today we went to church and I was ready for a nap before the day started. So I came home and took a nap with Damon and I wake up to Juan on the Xbox with a headset playing Live, talking to someone on a team with him, from who knows where. Anyways, a little bit later, were off on the bikes, heading to Jason and Karen's for a BBQ. Jason came and picked up our BBQ in the truck, and we followed not to far behind. Those bikes are awesome, and the boys love it. It makes a great family outing. After we ate, we went to their game center and played pool and ping pong, and about an hour later, Colby said, "Alright, I'm ready for Rock Band." so that's where we began.
I've made a dedication to myself, OK, I need to work out. As much as we party, we eat too. These two things together, not a good thing. So tomorrow, I'm going to get my I-Card and working out. Its free too, I just need to find someone to go with me.

Bad day for Juan...
So its been a couple off days since I've been on but after the diagnoses of need I say more, "yucky" virus we attained, were back again! Juan hasn't had the best luck with his bike. He's got a nice bike, but the people at Wal-mart must not know how to put a bike together! He noticed it didn't click up into the 3rd set of gears, and so we took it to a bike shop and they said they couldn't fix it because it was messed up. A brand new Bike! So we take it back here in Rexburg, and I call the Ammon Wal-Mart and they tell me they have one. Puts my name on it, and when I go, there's not one. So I go to Idaho Falls and check it out, they have his bike, same thing! Doesn't switch. There was one that had been used a little, so we get that one, and Juan rides it to school. Well... The foot pedal comes off! So he has to push his bike to and from school. Juan loves to download music, and with that came the virus. Took it in, and now... were all clean of "Nasty" website and whatnot! So that's been the events of the last few days.
