A few days in Utah
I made yet another trip to Utah this past week! It was a lot of fun, but I was happy to be heading home. I left Wednesday afternoon and headed down to my sisters. I had decided not to go, but I had been asking my parents to come down for a couple of weeks, and they told me they weren't going. They were planning on suprising us, so I was there! But it wasn't a suprise anymore. My dad was a little upset that my sister knew, but it was all worth it! So they got there at about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday. The party never stopped! There was good food to be had, fun, and lots of grandkids. The whole reason for going down was for my cousins wedding at the Mt. Timponogas temple. I had never been there before, so it was really pretty!
Here the kids are playing ring around the rosie. Colby, Juan and my cousin Trevor arrived Saturday morning, so it was even more fun!
Here is the wedding party! Both sides of the families.
My gorgeous parents! The adults went out to dinner the night before the wedding with the family.
And Cabelas! My dad cannot miss this place when he comes into town. I think that he would make the trip just for here.
Kiras little boys Jason and Cameron, and then grandpa and Keenan. My dad made 2 trips to Cabelas in one day, and then again the next. He has about 1 month until his African Safari, so he of course needed to buy some things to get ready for that! Im way excited for him, and it was fun to see some of the animals on display that he would be shooting! This is a life ling dream for him. He's wanted to go on a Safari since he was 12! Good Job dad! Making your bucket list! (Don't forget, we still need to go skydiving!)

Tautphaus Park Zoo
Yesterday we went to the zoo in Idaho Falls. We have been here for 3x now but this has been the best time so far, and the best time at any zoo! Its the beginning of the season, and it wasn't hot, which contributed to the animals being out and showing off for us!

I don't think we had ever seen these lions before

This monkey was showing off like crazy! He was swinging up and around, up in the sunlight on the ceiling, and then, as I was up face to face with the the other monkey in the cage, he came swinging down and slammed right into the glass! Talk about getting my heart racing! It freaked me out!

This is a fun park to play at. About a year or two ago, they made this playground with specials needs kids in mind. The whole thing had ramps to get up to it for wheel chair access. They also have swings with high back that even Damon could swing by himself!

Keenan has conquered his fear of going down the slide by himself. He used to like us to hold his hands, but one day I just pushed him down by himself a couple of times and now he will go back and forth, up and down. He even says WEEE!!!
This is a crazy feeling toy! It spins ya and it feels like your gonna fall off
SO CUTE!

Damon loved the water! After we saw the penguins, he was crying for a while because he wanted to go swimming! Poor little guy!

The other day, the guys went shooting, so Ana and I took the kids for a walk and a ride on the bike, and took back a redbox movie, got Jamba juice, and went to Porter Park!

Easter Weekend
Ana's sister Ana and her family came into town on Friday and are here until tomorrow morning! It has been a blast having them here and hangin' with them for a few days. Juan is out of school until Monday so it has been great!
We didn't get a picture before church... grr... But here we are in the afternoon right after we gave the kids their Easter Baskets.
On Sunday afternoon, we walked to the Nature park by our house and had a little Easter Egg hunt for the kids. Damon absolutely thought it was the funniest thing to get the eggs and drop them in the basket. He was totally cracking up! A new found love!

A few days in Utah
Last week on Wednesday I decided to go with one of my friends to Utah. She was already heading down and so the kids and I jumped in at the last minute. It turned out to be a good time to leave because Juan had major work to be doing in his drafting class. The night before I got home, he didn't even sleep at all because he was working on it. It was a huge architectural project that took all semester to do, but he enjoyed doing it.
While I was at my sisters, we ate at the "famous" Cafe Rio, not once but twice~ and let me tell you! Delish! I had never had it, so it was extra special! Thanks Kira for the takeout! We enjoyed getting out but with a lot of kids its almost impossible but we managed and had a great time! We even got to get out by ourselves a little to get our insanity back for a few minutes. While I was there, we ventured all over and to just about every fabric and quilt store to find me some plaid flannel. I am doing twin size quilts for the boys. I'm way excited to get them really going. They are a sports theme with basketballs, soccer balls, baseballs, and bats. Kira has the same ones also for her boys and so I'm doing the same but with different fabric! So fun! I love projects! It was nice to come home, but to a house that literally looked like a tornado had gone through it! But never the less, great to be home! Here are some pictures of the time we had! Not a lot!
