Halloween

Well we are back into the swing of things. We got into our new apartment this last weekend and are enjoying it. Defenilty soo glad we got into these. Last Friday, we had a ward halloween party that was off the hook! hahah.. jk. it was fun though, and we won best costume!! Wow! THe boys were scuba divers, and I was a cop, and Juan was a convict. I will try and get some pictures of us and Damon. so thats the latest. were going to another Halloween party this Friday, so that should be fun. Oh and we went to the Haunted Mill last night, and they made me go in the front like most of the time! weenies! haha! It lasted about a half hour long to get through, and there were places where you had to crawl through little tight tunnels. creepy!

So these were a little while ago, but I haven't posted anything great for a while. Keenan was thoroughly enjoying some chocolate pudding. Loved it to say the least!

things about me!

So 7 random things about me. Im pretty sure they are supposed to be like quirks. Lets get started!

1. Ok, so I hate not knowing whats going on! I have to be in on everything! Its really bad, and Juan calls me a chizmosa. which means like... umm.. im there when all the gossip is going on. I know, Im really bad.

2. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to have people over and to hang out! But I get totally stressed about it all too. I dont know why! I want things always in order, but I know its never going to happen.

3. I love to move! yes I know.. you say what? I say bring it on. We have moved about 9 times in our 5 years of being married. I like change I guess. And it's a good way to clean the house and get rid of things I dont use. It works really.

4. I hate cooking something and it not getting eaten! This drives me crazy. If I'm cooking and your coming over, you better eat. I didnt cook all day for you to say, "I just ate, sorry." That doesn't fly with me.

5. I hate when people leave thier blinkers on! Ahh my dad will do it just to annoy me too. Hate it!

6. I hate getting ignored! Juan will use his "selective hearing" and when I ask him to do something, I have to repeat it about 50 times!

7. Last but not least, I have to have my kids matching! I plan out what thier going to wear everyday! Im really paranoid about what my kids look like! They have to look good when we leave the house. No exceptions! And I can't stand "character" clothing. I just wont buy it. And the same goes for shoes. If I wouldn't wear it, my kids aren't.

Just a quick post! Were moving this Saturday! whoo whoo! Yes and no I guess, We went and saw the apartment today and am very excited about it! Big living area thats way fun! So yah for us!! Now back to packing... ugh!

New Hobbies

Ok so I need to get into doing crafts again. I seem to blog anf e-mail WAY WAY WAYYYY to much! so thats one thing that needs to stop, and when we move, we'll only have the laptop and Juan takes it to school, So I have a few things i want to do, but if anyone else has anything fun and inexpensive to make, let me know!

Pediatric Dentist

Oh how I love Pediatric dentists! I have never been to one before and I was glad when Damon's O.T. referred him to this guy. I had been trying to find one that accepted Medicaid and had no luck. When I called this one, not sure of the name, they did! So we took Damon in today, and I got results that I wanted!!! I have taken Damon to about 2 or 3 other "regualar" dentist, and they tell me he looks fine, and he doesn't need to go back. I knew he needed more. they didnt even clean his teeth. Here, they cleaned him, and flourided him. ya whoo! And I finally heard what I wanted to hear, that he does need work on 2 of his teeth in the front. Damon is going to be prone to having dental issues, I knew that, but this doctor took his time, didnt have anyone else to work on there, and sat down, and explained everything I needed to know about kids with Cerebral Palsy, and teeth. So next month, we go up the hospital, put him out, and a surgery type procedure, and poor guys has to have a root canal!! yeah all the times I told the other dentists, atleast a year ago, it has come to this! But we get it fixed and he got some cool stuff out of it also.

carving, food, & Fun!!

So last night we went to Jason and Karyn's place to eat dinner, carve pumpkins and make caramel apples! Oh it was soo much fun!

weekend

We had a fun weekend. With it being our anniversary on Friday, Juan and I went to dinner and the Hard Hat. Thank you Joel and Courtney for watching the boys! Later that night, we went and watched a movie, Max Payne. Thank you to Sean and Alicia who stayed here while the boys slept! It was a great time, and we appreciate both you guys for helping with the kids. Saturday rolled around and my sister was in town. I watched thier kids while they went to a wedding, and then dropped them off at the temple about 1 1/2 hours later. good times. We then went to Colby's bosses house with the intent to play rock band in thier theatre room but ended up just hanging out and cooking hot dogs. Our weekend ended with a delicious dinner with Joel and Courtney and then dumpster diving for scrap wood for craft projects. too bad I didnt have my camera for that one! thanks for all the fun times guys!

Snow and Sippy

Well the post says it all! It snowed yesterday and today. It was sticking for a bit, but its all melted now. Its sfun, yes I say that now, but Im sure I'll get sick of it, but for now Im loving it! Im glad that I wont have to walk up steps when we move in the snow! A plus to going where we are. And Keenan hasn't had a bottle for about 3 days now! Wahoo! I was so determined at one to get him off of it, but we made it at about 13 months. Can't complain. He went to bed without one with water the other night, and I said, mr. opportunity! I took my chances, and it was gone! He's always taken a sippy cup eating, but never to bed. now hes free of all when he goes to sleep! Work well done I say!

What a wonderful weekend

So we had a great weekend! As everyone always says, its just relaxing on conference weekend. We didnt watch conference on Saturday. Boo us I know. We went to Idaho Falls and went groccery shopping, got a new microwave(hint hint, always always get warranty on all your "big" purchases. I have had to get 2 new microwaves and onl;y spent $27 with another warranty and that was only because we upgraded! Its totally worth it.) and went to Target. Forget how much I love Target when you dont have one here. WE had plans to play come home and play volleyball at the park but I fell asleep and so we jsut hung out at home. Sunday rolled around, and we had our neighbors over to watch the morning conference. I cooked up a loaf of french bread, made chili, and salads, and had our neighbors from downstairs over after the second session. Juan did a little homework and then all of us went to the park and threw a football around and just talked. They had to go to a committee meeting and when they came back, we had scones w/honeybutter and 2 games of sceneit! We love to have people over and always are up for a party. We so blessed to be here and making the friends that we are. We are a bit nervous to move because of our friends like 20 steps away, but will defenitly keep getting together! Until you guys all move to Provo! We'll be visiting!

Help Help Help

So I sooo want to get Keenan off the bottle! He takes a sippy cup so easy but when he gets into bed, he want the bottle. He doesnt take it with milk, just water so it can't be that hard. Anyone that has transitioned let me know. DO I just let him cry??

Oh the Fun we Have Together

Juan only had one class yesterday so we took the kids out and went for a bike ride. We rode through the park and then went to millowHollow to get a FREE frozen peach and mango yogrut! Yummy! The boys loved it too. We went back to the park and had a blanket and Juan drew some pictures for his interior design class and then we threw a footbal for a little bit. We gotta practice up for my flag football game. On Monday out team is getting together to play against husbands and wives and make some plays for our next game. Should be fun. We invited Jason and Karen to come and play with us also so that should be way fun! I just love going to work out with Karen. It's bringing us closer together I think! Thanks Karen for working out with me! I have just loved these warm days that we've been haivng! But can't wait for winter either. Tommorow were getting together to play volleyball at the park with our great friends! I can't wait and it should be soo much fun. As I was at Phi-Yo last night, she always leaves you with a thouhgt. Well last night was a perfect thought for my day. It's a book title I think by Sherry Dew. "If life wasn't hard, it would be easy." Its true too. It life didnt throw us all the trials and things in our life, life would be too easy and what would be the point? Just a thought to think about.
