If all goes well...

If all goes as planned, This stroller should be arriving at my house some day! Really don't know when, but wow! About time is all I can say! Getting medicaid and all to approve things takes forever to say the least! We had another stroller but it was to expensive and so we had to pick another one, NOT that this one is much cheaper, but its more "pimpin" anyways! Just look at the writing! Next thing it needs is some rims. I think were going to be getting a hear rest thing, a canopy, and basket on bottom! I was totally against getting anything that is bionicle looking, or looked like a wheel chair. That time will come but for now, its simple and stylish for Damon! So in the meantime, we will wait.. and wait... and wait...

Ready to kick it up a notch
So this past week and a half has been horrible for me working out! I got killer shin splints and so when I would get done running, they shins were throbbing sooo bad! So I have been babying them and not doing any hard running, still working out a bit, but nothing like I need to be! And I can feel it too! Amazing what a week of not doing much makes you feel like. uhghh.. So here's to a new week! Sorry Kira, your'e probably well on your way to our half marathon!
On another note, we had a great weekend! Friday night we got together with some couples at our house, played games and hung out! Saturday Colby and Trisha came over in the morning i did her hair, and then we went our seperate ways and got ready for a girls night out! We went to Abblebees before 6 and got half price appetizers and a drink. Fun fun! The waiter did over charge us about $35 dollars but all was well in the end! Thanks Trisha for paying for mine. On SUnday the party didn't stop. We went over to Joel and Courtney's house for dinner and ate YUMMY YUMMY fajitas! And played boggle and just chatted! And we ate a cookie monster! Ahh that was heavenly. Its a huge cookie with ice cream all over it! This is another reason to kick it up also! Junkin' it! Now its nice to have a clean week ahead of me, and to get back to normal, because this week things are already in the planning stages! BUNKO here we come! (I think thats what its called.)

For the Latest in Enriquez News... Tune in
Today was Damon's first day of Pre-School at Adams Elementary. He had a choice to ride the bus or me take him, and of course I can't let him take the bus at his young age. They said we did great and had a lot of sitting up. Juan was able to go and pick him up because I was donating Plasma. Let me just tell you, I had myself all hyped up thinking it was going to be a big deal, but WOW! Nothing at all. The prick on my finger hurts more and yeah the needle was big like they said, but it was fine. I will defenitly be a returing customer. I did almost pass out at the end when the needle was all out and they told me to sit for about 15 minutes. Crazy. But I got a Capri-Sun out of the deal and $CASH$. Bill money. yeah...
On another note, I went in yesterday to the school and got an application for Keenan to go to toddler lab. They said he will most likely be going next semester! I will have 2 boys in school! Wierd! But Keenan is going to just love it! He always wanted to go when Damon was going. So its going to be fun for him.

I have been jogging and working out, but now its time to pump up the volume and get kickin'. So Salt Lake City, here we come. Wish us both luck! What an amazing thing to be able to accomplish.

Need Advice & Thoughts
Ok im asking for everyones opinion. There is a microcephaly convention in June for all chlildren with microcephaly and a couple other disabilities. (which is what Damon has) It's pretty pricey as it's about $800 for motel, for 4 days, and registration fees. There is a fundraising opportunity to raise money to help cover fees, and to help others get to be able to come also. Based on the money you raise, you get 50% to pay for your fees and the other 50% helps others and top doctors to be able to come. What Im asking is, should I do this and ask for donations from businesses and what not? I have mixed feelings on these kinds of things, so I dont know. Or if I should wait for a few more years to do this. This is just one of those kinds of things I've wanted to attend since last year when they first announced the conventions as an annual thing. You can visit this site to learn more. Foundation for Microcephaly Everyone let me know what you think!

Thank You Today Show
When I wake up in the morning I like to turn on the Today show and see whats new. The todays money section was on and the lady that always gives financial advice was talking. She talked about just calling your credit card company and see what they can do to reduce your interest rate. So I thought I would try it, we have good credit, what is there to lose? Just a couple minutes later, we were down from 18% (didnt know it was so high) to 8%! Amazing! Just from a phone call!
Olive Gardens Zuppa Toscana
I have started another blog linked to this one that is eventually going to have all my recipes I like on them. Last night we had zuppa tuscana! It tasted exactly like it! Check out the blog for the recipe. Its the last one on there.

This just in! New Years Eve
We did a hilarious skit for New Years Eve in Basin City. When Juan went and worked with my dad one of the days beforehand, they practiced and this was the outcome! Juan is the face in the first two and my dads hands, and jauns hands as the feet and My dad in the last one, with Juans hands. My mom was the other head, and I was the hands getting her rady with her feet dancing. They were getting ready for the first date of the year, and we were going with music. Some day I will get the real video up. Enjoy!
