Currently we are out of ICU and got put into a regular room. I knew it wouldn't be long before we got to experience the new Randalls Children Hospital. Its a new expansion of Legacy Emmanual. They were working on it when we were here in November. So here we are again! But wow this new part is amazing and really nice! Everything is very modern. Every patient has private rooms which is really nice!
We have never been in the ICU before and it's not only for babies! I don't wait long for Damon to get him into a dr because with his condition, things can change very quickly which is what happened in this case. I kept him home on Tuesday from school because he started sneezing and runny nose on Monday evening. Tuesday afternoon he started wheezing and having a hard time breathing. I have albuteral treatments at home so I gave him 3 but they weren't working to well. So I called into his dr, went in, and then were sent to the ER. St. Vincent started him on lots of albuteral treatments but still his oxygen levels were still low, about 90's. So they transfered him by ambulance here to Randalls into the ICU where he was in isolation. Anytime anyone came in they had to gown up, glove up, and mask up. 2 days there and lots of treatments, we was able to go to a regular room. So now we are here and then actually able to go for walks! He hates being in the bed, cries when I leave the bed, or he can't see me, so we have just been relaxing and watching a lot of TV.
It's not just so easy though, I am constantly fixing and arranging him because hes falling over can't pick himself up, and then gets mad. What a pain it has been actually. I can't sit in the chair next to the table because he freaks out. Starting meds and food right now, and hes crying...

Mothers Day at the BEACH!
Nothing was planned for Mother's Day. It hasn't been a big day for me really since I have had kids. Living close to my parents house, it seemed as if we always got together for every occasion! Now it's on me to continue the tradtion.
Saturday though I was able to go out literally ALL day! I left at 8:45 am to go look at wedding dresses with Vicky, and us "bridesmaids" Teresa, Ana, Melissa. It was great! I never got the chance to look at wedding dresses or shop for them since I was given mine. It was like a little fairytale. And she found the most GORGEOUS dress ever! Once we found her dress, the 4th dress and first place we went to, we had the rest of the day to look for our dresses. That was a fail. We didn't find any we loved. So we went and got our toes done. Best pedicure I have ever had! I totally needed that. When I got home at 6 pm Juan was doing dishes and cleaning the house! What a man to stay with the kids and then take care of the house duties. He's learning more and more :)
When Sunday rolled around we went to church but had no plans for that day! One of our friends came up to us after church and were talking about thier beach trip the day before. Why not go to the beach? So we hurried home, grabbed some food to take, packed up our beach things and off we went! Usually the beach is colder and windy but it was amazing!
Juan had to push Damon in the jogger along with chairs and bags and pushing that thing in the sand is hard!
It took Niko about 1.5 hours to warm up to the sand. But once he did, had food in his tummy, and a bottle there was no stopping him, He carried this lid around for a while trying to break down daddys sand castle.
Keenan decided it could also be used as a frisbee!
