Christmas Vacation

We have had such a fun fun time being here in Washington and seeing all our family! We have been here for about 2 weeks and will be leaving this Saturday if all plans go well! Were hoping the roads will cooperate for us also! We have been staying at my brother Seth's and Juans sisters Ana. It has been a great break from work, and school for Juan, but we are ready to be back to a normal routine, back to schedules, and back to therapies for Damon. We spent Christmas morning at Seth and Heather's. Santa found us despite all of our moving around and no fireplace, but he managed to track us down, and was very good to us! The boys got lots of fun toys, and lots of clothes. Poor Damon has been sharing clothes with Keenan, and he's not a 2 year old, so they were short all around. Lucky for him, he got his own clothes! By the afternoon we were heading to Royal city to spend the remainder of the day with Juans side of the family and had lots of good food and fun spent there! Saturday afternoon was the McGary party at the church in Basin City, so we enjoyed seeing couisns we don't get to see too often, and then back up to Juans sisters we went! We are pretty much living out of boxes and suitcases in our car, but it's so much fun also! We have felt so much love being here its going to be hard to leave family again, but it has been so long since we have been home! Since the end of September and were missing our friends and our own stuff! But here are lots of pictures since we have been here and also for my family far away!

Damon's 4th Birthday

Damon turned 4 just a couple days after we arrived in Wa, so we had a little birthday party for him with Juans family. I cannot believe that Damon is 4 already! Some days it seems that we have always had him and other days its like were just meeting him for the first time! He is improving more and more everyday, getting stronger and suprising us with what he knows. He is such a great joy and choice spirit it our home and we love him to pieces!

Fun Times

Well we are coming up on the end of our time here in Sacramento. Were trying to fill up ours days here, and get things done. Juan technically has the internship done with all his hours and weeks, now its just a waiting game. We would be going home now if I wasn't taking the ACT here in Sacramento, but were here, and thats that. We are both so ready to be going home to WA for Christmas. And for about a week longer then we had originally thought! So much fun! The boys have enjoyed having thier daddy home in the evenings, and not busy! I think I can officially say that Keenan in potty trained! He hasn't had a daiper for about 2 weeks now, and we can even go out places and he stays dry! It's so nice not having 2 in diapers, but at the same time, a pain to make sure you find bathroom times to take him! He is even potty trained at night which is really amazing! A 2 year old, full on potty trained! YA whoo! We have had a few accidents but its because I wasn't there to help him :( But he's doing fantastic! Damon is turning 4 in a week! Where has that time gone! He's getting so big and all his pants are getting to short! He is for sure getting tall and slowly gaining weight but its gaining! Were planning to have a little birthday party with Alex, Setha and Heather's boy, when we get back! Should be fun!

On a side note, Candace Nielson and I are wanting to have a get together with all us girls when were home for Christmas! Let us know if your in and we cann all plan something super fun!

San Francisco

We took a quick weekend trips to visit my cousin in Pleasant Hill CA, and had planned a day in San Francisco on Saturday. We left on Friday about 6:00 and headed down to see them. I was persistant with Juan that we go because we are so close! We are only about an hour and 20 min from my cousins place, and then about 40 minutes to the bay area. I just couldn't be so close and not go! Of course I need my pictures of places we go! So there are lots! But thats how I remember things. We had so much fun catching up with Jessica and her husband, and her in-laws were great hosts! We did so much and were so worn out on Saturday. Things we did
* played with the boys for a bit at the Golden Gate park
* drove on part of the 49 mile secenic route
* took the famous picture by the Golden Gate Bridge
* Fisherman's Wharf
* Saw some crazy people at the Pier
* Ghiradelli's chocolate
* walked through shops
* Saw the Oakland Temple all lit up for Christmas
* Drove on the curvy road
I'm so glad we had the opportunity to go! It was lots of fun and thank you to our tour guide Jessica for getting us through the city and having tons of fun!
