Full of thanks for November

With it being the beginning of November I wanted to do a post each day specifically to certain things Im thankfuk for. Today being the second, yesterday I posted on facebook I was grateful to be snuggling my boya on the couch while watching dispicable me. As much as my kids drive me crazy everyday for differnt reasons, I would not change a thing about being home with them. The little things they do, say, and act, are such an innocent thing and I would hate to miss it! Keenan on a daily basis asks if he can snuggle with me. I love it! i Love that my boys love to lay with.thier mom. I know that one day this will not be the case so im cherishing every moment. Keenan leaned over and kissed my shoulder, told him I loved him, and he always replies back with I love you.

Today I was greatful/thankful for my parents teaching me how to work and not just work, but to enjoy it. To get fulfillment out of working. Growing up on the farm you learned how to work early. Whether it was chaning the water pipes in our little field, working with the pigs, or cleaning the house with our weekend jobs written on a paper! I got a fulfillment by crossing off each thing off on that list! One of the one things that was fun work was when we would take the day and head up to the mountains and chop down the trees, load them up in the truck, and then have lunch in the woods! We would make a fun day out of it. We would usually go with my grandpa abd grandma McGary and do both trucks. Usually we made a couple trips to the forest to get our load for the years winter. Then we would have to come home, unload the wood, my dad would take the chain saw cut it up small enough to chop with the ax and then we would stack it. What fun memories we made as a family. My parents always made our work fun. And for this Im grateful.

Trick-or-treat!

Halloweens come and gone and now its November 1st already??? Before we know it were going to be struttin our stuff in Florida then cruising away! Fun rest of the year ahead of us!

I made orange colored waffles with halloween sprinkles for the kids! Keenans even had a kit kat for the mouth and whoppers for the eyes... strange kid didnt even eat them!

Damon had a costume parade at school so he came home in his Iron Man outfit, but I didn't get a picture. We opted out taking him out. He stayed home and gave out candy with dad! It was such a great time with the kids! I don't think that I have ever taken them door to door trick or treating before because there is always a trunk or treat to go to. Well I defenitly prefer the door to door by far!! It was such a fun and exciting thing to see the kids lined up at the doors, running the streets. It was just like in the movies. Growing up in a farming community you never had this opportunity because you had to drive to every house. even then I dont remember going trick or treating... hmmm.Did we go mom? We had to of.

Niko was the cutest little monkey on the block! Everyone kept stopping and saying how cute he was! This boy is defenitly a show stopper!

Keenan had decided to wanted to be a ninja. So a few weeks back I got him from school and we went to goodwill to see what we could find! Alas there was a perfect costume for ten bucks! It was just what he wanted! Nikos costume I got at a pass it on sale for 6!

Adult Halloween Party

We had so much fun at our ward, adult only halloween party. We played games, ate yummy food, and got to know new people in our ward! It was a great time to get out and enjoy being young again!
