Update on Traveling

So you probably already know that Im writing this, were in a motel for the night! We did make it over half ways, but there is tons of black ice, cars flipped over, semi's jack knifed, and everything a mess! So we are in Baker City, and after stopping for the bathroom, a couple that had just come over the pass, said it was horrible and suggessted we wait until tommorow. So thats it! Were still glad we came early, because even Rexburg was supposed to get snow, and we didnt hit the snow until about a little after Nampa! yah!!! But then it was 45 mph! Good luck with traveling everyone.

Tis' the Season

The stockings are hung, lights are up, and theirs snow on the ground! Were going home for Christmas this year and way excited about it! Were going to hopefully leave Friday afternoon after classes and appts we have for the boys! It's supposed to snow Saturday so that's why were not waiting. Hopefully the roads will cooperate with us. So today is going to be a busy day! Getting things ready for my sisters Christmas to send off before we leave! Love this time of year to shop! every one's out there enjoying the times as well! Judging from the Outside

Damon started sunbeams today. What a fun little experience for him. I was nervous for the sake of people looking at him. I guess I wouldn't have been but before they had us go in for singing time, his teachers asked me, not knowing I was his mom, "So what do you do with him?" I simplt told her that you didn't have to do much, just play with him, and she said, "Well he doesn't play." Did she just say that? yeah, my little boy can play. Maybe not like the other kids play, but he likes to be interacted with. So she says, I think you need to come to class with me cause I don't know what to do with him so I did. We were waiting outside the door to go to class, and she was like I don't know who his parents are. I said I'm his mom. Then she wanted to apologize and hoped I didn't take offense to anything. It was all fine in the end, and she's a great teacher and maybe didnt know how to approach the situation. I just hope he doesn't get ignored when Im not there with him.
