Getaway to Utah!

So I enjoyed a few days at my sisters house these past couple of days in Utah. I surprised her and I was going to just show up on her doorstep which is good I didn't because it was her and David's anniversary and i ruined plans. So I babysat while they went out to dinner which was even better. I went ready to have a great time and we did! It was a great time to get away from the day to day therapies and whatnot. But by Thursday I was misses my husband and the boys were missing their daddy. So I went to lunch with my cousin Lauren and then headed home!

The day I got there, I went with Kira to take Alyssa to the doctor and then we took my car to the shop again. Well I had loose wheel bearings. Funny thing, they tried to scam me. Thinking I'm just some young girl that doesn't know anything. Well I'm far from that, and I knew something was catchy. He called and told me that it was the wheel bearings and needed to call to see if my warranty would cover it. It did but then he said after they called the warranty place and said that I needed new brake pad shoes and it was going to cost $250 of my money, but that it needed to be done. SO I said OK then do it. I'm trusting them right? Well all night I'm thinking about it, call my dad and he says the part is $30. You can drive on it, and when they come in a week he'll fix it. So I call the guy back and I told him that I wanted to wait, and he was like, oh um... well let me check. to make a long story short, I go to pick up my car and he tells me its perfectly fine and doesn't need to be fixed. They just wanted to get money out of me. I mean, why did they tell me it had to be fixed if they hadn't even really checked it out? hmm... who do you trust anymore?

But we had a great rest of the time. Went to a water park for a day, and then made Chinese food, hung out, I went to see one of my friends from High School, Brooke hung out by her pool with the boys. The kids are water dogs! So that about sums it up. And about 15 minutes before I was leaving, I came home with a project. Making a felt quiet book. I was so excited to come home and start so last night I got about 5 of the pages to be done cut out! It's so fun!
