Last week on Wednesday I decided to go with one of my friends to Utah. She was already heading down and so the kids and I jumped in at the last minute. It turned out to be a good time to leave because Juan had major work to be doing in his drafting class. The night before I got home, he didn't even sleep at all because he was working on it. It was a huge architectural project that took all semester to do, but he enjoyed doing it.
While I was at my sisters, we ate at the "famous" Cafe Rio, not once but twice~ and let me tell you! Delish! I had never had it, so it was extra special! Thanks Kira for the takeout! We enjoyed getting out but with a lot of kids its almost impossible but we managed and had a great time! We even got to get out by ourselves a little to get our insanity back for a few minutes. While I was there, we ventured all over and to just about every fabric and quilt store to find me some plaid flannel. I am doing twin size quilts for the boys. I'm way excited to get them really going. They are a sports theme with basketballs, soccer balls, baseballs, and bats. Kira has the same ones also for her boys and so I'm doing the same but with different fabric! So fun! I love projects! It was nice to come home, but to a house that literally looked like a tornado had gone through it! But never the less, great to be home! Here are some pictures of the time we had! Not a lot!

Glade that you could get out to and that Juan got some major homework done. I bet it was nice for him to just work at home instead of going up to the school. Well the semester is over tomorrow:)
Sounds like you had a great time! We'll have to get together so that you can see all of my latest projects! I agree, they are fun!
How fun to spend some time with your sister. Can't wait to see your quilts!
how cute. You're boys are growing so fast. So how you liking it down there? I talked to Karie the other day and told her we had 80degree weather, she said she was excited about your 40degree weather! haha. I don't miss that!
Dang you little traveling girl! The pic of the kids looking at each other is adorable -and hope the quilting is going good!
