So here is my dilemma! Keenan is 28 months old, and still prefers not to talk! He can say words, but prefers not too. He has said:
Outside
No
puple (purple)
eyes
nose
mo (mouth)
shua (shoe)
dink (drink)
pease (please)
mom
I can't really think of anything else. But he can't say simple words either like ball. I don't know what to do to get him to talk. Do I get him evaluated? But then will they will tell me he's fine cause he has said those words? Do I wait until atleast summer to see if he doesn't start talking? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I would get him evalutated, if for no other reason than to set your mind at ease. Especially if there is a program that does it for free, there usually is. Also loved the story below. It take very specials parents to raise such a choice spirit.
My nephews didn't talk until they were 3. Seriously! They would say a couple of words but really didn't feel like talking. Once they turned 3 they were just saying full sentences. Every kid is different. They understood what you were saying though and would respond without talking. If you feel that he needs to be tested I would for sure.
I wouldn't worry about it. Some kids just don't feel like talking, and theres absolutely nothing wrong with them...Scott's nephew didn't talk until he was like 3. He would babble like crazy, but you could never understand what he was saying...and then he gradually became understandable. And he's a REALLY smart kid. Keenan is a smart boy, I'm sure he's fine!
