And now for the BIG reveal

I have wanted bunk beds for a while now for the boys, but the time was never right or I couldn't find any for a good price. I had been looking on craigslist, KSL, and the bulletin board here at school with no luck. I finally stopped looking but then my sister text me out of nowhere that there was a set on KSL in West Jordan just like her boys'. So she called the people up and left a message. Thankfully they called her back because she had six other people ask about them. YAH!! The only thing that was wrong with them was her kids had bitten them all up so there was marks all over it! BUT that was fine by me! For 75 bucks we got a killer deal! Kira picked them up that day and kept them in her garage until I went down the next weekend so it worked out perfect!

I took on the huge project of sanding everything down, went through 2 Palm sanders, thankful 3 worked like a charm! I'm still stunned as to why the other 2 went out! Went with a De Walt and no problems. Now I'm a real carpenter.

I had these stars already in their room, spray painted one red, then distressed it a bit and moved them around

So tons of sanding, lots of staining, lots of getting "hi" and lots of hours later! I love them!
