100th Birthday

My Great Grandma Zimmerman celebrated 100 years of living on July 31st! Amazing! We enjoyed being together as a family, extended and close. It was so fun to be able to see uncles and auntes that we don't get to see very often. With only having Niko a week before, I was still pretty sore and had to sit on my "blowup doughnut" from the hospital. I could tell that my body had over done it for the day and I was hurting pretty bad by the end, we ended up leaving and I went and layed in the back seat to ease the pain a bit. My uncles made a yummy dinner of barbecued chicken, salmon, fruit, corn, rolls, juice, and salads! It made for a good Sunday dinner!
They had an area on a table that had a family tree written out on a poster board that showed all the family and grandkids and great grandkids! My parents out did the grandchildren thing from my grandma Floyds family. It really is amazing that my parents have 21 grandchildren! So much fun when we all get together. We also had a short program where the grandchildren like my aunts and uncles got up and said a little something about a good memory they had with her. It was fun to hear what they grew up like and what they remember the most.
I love the legacy that this family has. It's amazing to look around at all the family and see how blessed we are to be a part of this family!
