First Snowfall of the Year!

We didn't get much of a snowfall this year so far but parts of the region and on this West Side of the US is getting dumped in some areas with a snow storm! With having a very mild December, we were due for some moisture now.
Damon was in school when I decided, we have to get out there before it's gone! It's not going to last very long and we better use the sled that we move from place to place with us. So we got the snow gear out, bundled our little selves up, (I think it takes longer to get ready then the amount of time we are even out there) but it is so worth it in the end!

Having Damon in school made it possible to be able to go outside. It is really hard when it's just me to take the kids out anywhere when I have to go by myself. Having two that cannot walk makes it impossible.
Keenan wanted to pull the sled and so Niko got a stroll around the park.

SNOWBALL TIME

I really would have enjoyed a good snowball fight with Keenan and the snow was perfect packing snow for snowballs! But having to hold Niko because by the time we got around to a fight, Niko was ready to be held and really wanted to go home. But we still got to throw them at each other. I look forward to the time when we can go just out our back door to play and not have to go to the park. At least our park is literally in our backyard but still not reachable to keep Niko in the house.
Keenan was so cute because he would make a snowball for me to throw at him. He wasn't ready to come in by any means but he knew that Niko was cold.
When we came inside, I was reminded of all the cold wet clothes that get thrown by the door. I couldn't help but smile because that's exactly what we would do when we were little. It's just a fun time of season when you get that fun snowfall and you get to play in it. I hope that the kids will remember the fun things that we do as a family.

You're such a fun mom. I LOVED the pictures. It reminds me of snow fun here, when you were the short one. You probably didn't want the fun to end, either.
