Spring Break in Washington

Sunday rolled around on the week of Spring Break for Damon and I was so worried about it. Damon thrives on going to school and being out and about. Hes not a huge fan of being home. I dont blame him though. He cant have me one on one anymore like at school. He gets so excited going to school and its a nice break for me also. So as spring break arrived I was sitting in church and i leaned over to Juan and asked what he thought about me going to my parenta house. "Home" He said go for it and thats all I needed. So I got things ready on Monday and Tuesday morning we took off. It seems to take a little more time getting there when there is only one adult and three little ones. I think my dad was anxious for us to get there and called me at 8 asking where we were at. Well i was still at home and getting ready. I didnt think there was a big hurry because I knew they were both working anyways. Turns out my dad was working from home. It turnes out to be such a nice break! I dont know if it was because we werent trying to fit in and see everyone or we were just really relaxed there. It was so great! And such a change because my dad was home a lot which isnt usual. So it was a lit of fun for us ans especially Keenan. Lots of grandpa time! My mom even took a day off of school to spend the day with us. And a great day it was. We did a few shopping things, more needed then fun shopping. And i get really exhausted when I have to shop with the kids. It just doesnt happen anymore. Then we met uo with Trisha, Colby and my dad at Bobs burgers in Richland for Colbys bday. That was fun to hang out with them. But I tell ya, that Damon boy can spot a balloon a million miles away! He spotted one up in the ceiling and he was crying and unhappy. So i ran over to walmart got him one then I was able to enjoy my lunch and he was happy so were all happy.

My dad always has fun ideas for the kids. He decided the shoot off bottle rockets. This is the second one they are shooting off and I had to force Keenan to take a picture because after the first one went off, he got scared and ran to the porch.
