We have been looking for homes since January! Let me tell you, it's not a fun situation. Atleast I don't think so. Between trying to find a single level home for us, with a yard is almost impossible in Hillsboro in our price range. We stepped up our boundaries and at last this came on the market last Thursday. We went and saw it that evening at 5 pm and there was already an offer on it! Things are moving really quickly here! So we put in our offer for 5,000 over asking, and our realtor pleaded with the listing agent of our need for a one story because of Damon. This house is just about perfect! Its a great layout for us. Although its 1500 sq ft its a GREAT started home for us. We have plans to go in and lay laminate down in the kitchen and dining, (there is carpet in the dining right now) and new carpet, doors, and paint. Everything else we can do as we live there and money is available. Inspection is tommorow, so we are hoping all is well! We are so excited to be entering this journey of new home ownership! Finally its happening for us!
