Keenan turned 6 on September 12, and I wanted to make his day special! I made a sign for him the night before that he would see when he woke up, balloons on the floor, and streamers coming down his door and a special chair to have breakfast. I thought this was just as big a birthday as when he turns 8 because of him starting school and what an exciting time it is in his life.
He loved waking up to all the fun! He actually woke up in the middle of the night to get our fan in our room, and saw everything then!
I didn't send a lunch with him this day because I told him I would bring him McDonalds. I stopped by Walmart to get him a cupcake also, but he wasn't interested in it. He said he wanted to wait until his birthday... I had a hard time telling him it was his birthday today, but he knew he was having a birthday party and was going to have cupcakes then. So he wanted to wait. I couldn't convince him,
I was excited to his friend John Henry in the same class as him. They were in soccer together during the Spring so Im glad they had each other to be friends with.
I asked Keenan questions and he did better then I thought he might know!

Keenan is an absolute blast to have in our family! He is such a cuddly and snuggly boy. He always wants to snuggle with someone. Sometimes in the morning I will find him sunggled up to Niko after they wake up. He is embracing school so well and its so fun to hear everything that he learning and picking up. He is a great helper around the house and does well helping with his chores. He helps me unload the dishwasher and making sure his room and living room are clean. He even will get the vaacum without me asking when he cleans his room because he knows that what I expect. He wants to do so well. He sings while he goes to the bathroom. He is always doing handstands all over the place and watches TV that way. He is singing all the time, and making his ordinary words into songs. Like criss cross applesauce that he learned In school, he will sing it in an opera voice. He plays well with Niko and is a great help with Damon.
He was so excited to open presents!! It was quick because we had to rush out the door to head to soccer but the look on his face says it all! He got all equipped with Beyblades and some Angry Bird stuff. He loved it all! We went to Red Robin for his free meal after his practice and he had birthday money from Grandma and Grandpa McGary and Tia Vicky and Tio Juan. So of course that was burning a hole in his pocket, we had to go over to Target and get MORE Beyblades!
