Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went to our original "stomping grounds" Basin City! Can't really call it home anymore since we no longer live there. My dad and I started out the day by doing a turkey trot in freezing weather but it was so great too! I think it was about 24 degrees out. Before we left, I went and got that ear cover and running gloves and thank goodness I did!

 

There was a good turnout and you can see how freezing everyone looks!

 

We spent the day getting the food ready and then just relaxing at my parents house. We did some online black Friday shopping, which isn't really black"friday" anymore since so many stores open on Thanksgiving anymore. So we did ours from the comfort of our home. I hadn't planned on doing much of it, but there was some great deals! On Friday morning I woke up and the excitement of not being out there got to me! We were staying at Seth and Heather's the rest of the weekend so I woke Heather up and off we went! So much fun and it was not chaotic at all! Everyone was out all night, we were there when everyone was at home sleeping! I found the two things I wanted to get Niko and toys r us. We hit up a couple other stores then went back and got Seth and Juan, and went to the movies with my parents. We went and watch the second hunger games movie. I was so tired I kept dozing off and on. It was an ok movie. It was such a fun weekend and it's always nice to get a txt message on your way home from Seth that said they weren't ready for us to go home and it was a lot of fun! So we ended things off right!
