I tried this year to make Easter less stressful and not go all out and get them lots. I think that it worked and I got them some fun things. I didn't get them new Easter outfits but having 3 boys the hand me downs are great! On Friday we went to Dogwood park and had a flashlight easter egg hunt. The boys loved it! We had a family move in this past year and they are so good about being so involved and planning some awesome stuff. This was her idea and I think it will become a tradition every year!
We went out on a group date on Saturday bowling and got home about 10 pm. I layed down and then realized I need to get the kids baskets together! My friend Elly, and also Damons respite worker said that Keenan was so excited for Easter that the Easter bunny was already laying eggs outside! Where he got that idea I don't know, and I think they have hyped up Easter at school so much. We don't really talk about the Easter bunny at home and I thought they knew the baskets came from us. But apparently not.
Ive had to take a sleeping pill a few times a week to get some sleep. Insomnia was kicking my butt and I took one Saturday night. When Keenan came in and said it was Easter, I was so groggy. He was so excited in the morning and I guess I messed up the baskets and put the wrong stuff in each. So Keenan thought he got a lego toy and Niko got the batman watch. oops. I finally convinced him otherwise.
I was so determined to get Easter pcitures and not be late to church! We did both so yah us this year!
I cannot believe how big Damon is. 8 yrs old and look at how tall! He is going to outgrow us for sure!
My three boys!

That is funny that you were tired the night before Easter to put out the baskets too! I went to bed at 9:30 and when David got home at 11:30 he woke me up to put out the baskets:)
