If we have learned one thing from crossfit is that there is a lot of fundraising involved! You really have to pick and choose what you do or you will be emptying your wallet every month! We have done quite a few and will be taking a break from them for a little while. This latest one we did was "Everyday Warrior" which symbolizes people battling cancer. The quote "Nobody fights Alone." It was a 4 week competition where once a week we all got together at the gym at 6 pm on Thursdays and all did a Wod together. We then would have until Sunday to input it into the computer to be ranked with the over 3,000 others doing the same thing. It was a really neat experience to be able to do this all together and think of those battling or who have lost their life to cancer. Last night I thought about my grandma McGary and it just made me keep going! Every week we went out to dinner as a group to a different restraunt. It was something really fun to look forward to every week and to do this with Juan. I love that he has found a love for fitness like myself!
