Yesterday was a much better day for me! Other then being starving by 1030 even after a huge bfast and feeling shaky my mood was good and I was able to carry on throughout the day well! The boys are officially on Spring Break so we went and saw Damon for a bit and took him more food. He didn't even care we were there of phase him that we were there. I did show him a picture of Adalyn and that was the one time he stopped and focused on something besides his balloon or toys. His care givers are amazing there with him! It's no wonder he loves it there!
Keenan got to see Adalyn again for just a short time. Niko still hasn't seen her because of his cough. He is feeling kinda jipped and sad he can't see her. I was told to come in and change her and feed her. I wasn't expecting to see her in clothes and being able to nurse her! I was so excited!! I was then able to nurse her again before I left. She caught on for a longer time the second time but still not long. But because I have a full milk supply she probably got more then the 10 mls that they started her with. But she took it so well with no choking or coughing. I am usually not a huge fan of nursing but having a child you can't nurse from the beginning makes you appreciate it more! The nurse also came up and said she may not be here much longer! Huge blessing! They originally said 2-3 weeks but we are at 1 week today and the possibility is probably Monday! Wow!
We have felt the blessings in our family and the fasting and prayers offered in our behalf. There is no way we could feel so calm and ready for what's coming without all the prayers for her and our family. I am so grateful for our friends and family at this time. There is something about trials bringing families closer and there is no doubt about that. I am grateful for eternal families and for living in a day when we have great surgeons and technology because 40 years agoo she would not have survived. But now we have this sweet baby who is thriving and is fighting and is my miracle baby!
