Overwhelmed by Everything Going On

For the rest of the month I will be making multiple trips over to Seattle Children's hospital for appt for Damon. It just doesn't get any easier as he's getting older. Next week I he has an early morning appointment at 8:30 am for a GI scope to make sure all his anotamy down is asophagues is in tact in prep for a G-tube. Then he four more appts following in the afternoon. The next day he has a swallow study and then following that he will be getting an NG tube (Nasogastric tube) placed in to see if a G-tube would work. He will have this in for a week to take his food through, and then we will see his pediatrician to see if he's gaining weight. If he is, then we will have a surgery scheduled to put the actualy MIC-Key in his stomach the week right after Christmas. I'm so nervous for all of this and I'm wondering if I'm doing the right thing, or if we should wait, but then I get to thinking that he doesn't eat, and I can't keep trying to feed him 6x a day and get frustrated because he won't eat, therefore doesn't sleep well. I think this will be the right thing for him, it's just passing another obstacle yet again, and hoping for the best. I wish that I could have more help going over, but Juan cannot miss work so here I go again by myself and hope that I can handle it all. Wish for the best for him and our family!
