Keeping Busy

I have been trying to keep myself busy with projects and I give myself weekly goals to help make time pass. This past week I made myself finish this quilt top that I bought back at the end of the year! I didn't like it at first but then it has kinda grew on me! I think it will look good when its on a bed and finished!
Juan has been keeping busy on his days off remodel some things downstairs. We were blessed to stay here for free in the basement of our friends house and we help fix things up for rent. We also do help with internet and electricity. So far he has put up 3 doors, one for privacy from the upstairs to downstairs. Major difference in regulating heat for sure! Then he put one on in the hall closet and one in the bathroom. So for the first couple weeks we didnt have a bathroom door except a piece of plywood we would move over the door when we needed. Next up he will be sheetrocking the bathroom instead of the wood walls you see. He has also put in new tile in the bathroom. There were a few broken peices and it was white and black alternating tiles. This looks so much better!

Not a whole lot has been going on for the last few weeks! Just getting through this winter is my only goal! Although we wont really accomplish it because we will be gone before the snow is. Pretty sad if you ask me! And when we get back home, fields will be tilled, maybe even started to plant!

Keenan got invited to a birthday party that was fairy tale themed so he went as a dragon. His friend Ivan went as a Knight. I guess he didn't keep it on long after he saw not everyone was dressed up. He wanted to come show us his costume after he put it on and so we went to go show himself in the mirror and I think he was a little scared because he grabbled my leg! I think it was more of a shocker! But he does make a mean looking cute dragon!

The boys started going to preschool together twice a week now. Its a nice break to have them gone together and they both love school! A shuttle van comes and picks them up and then brings them home.

I LOVE that face Keenan is making in his dragon costume! So cute! And I bet thats so nice to have some time to yourself while the boys are at pre-school. AND that you do have to drive them there/back?! Amazing!

What a cute quilt top and what darling boys. I really enjoyed reading your previous post. Thank you so much for sharing that. I need reminders like that daily to help me keep my head up and smile on my face. :)
