Christmas Eve- Kids Exchange Gifts

We had a lot of fun going out as a family one evening to an exciting place Wal-Mart to get gifts! We set a $10 limit on something for each of the kids and they were able to pick it out as much as they could anyways.
Names were drawn before we left then we were out the door!
Damon bought for Niko...
Niko bought for Keenan...
And Keenan bought for Damon.
This was a long month for Keenan knowing that he had gifts under the tree and that they were for him to open but not until Christmas. He was so excited when he told him he could open one this night!
Niko got a car seat play bar...
Damon got a bubble machine for the bath tub...
And Keenan got a dragon toy.
I remember doing this when we were younger and I remember a time when we all went to Target as a family for FHE one year and we all were trying to be sneaky so that the person we were buying for didn't see. I only hope that this becomes a fun tradition for the kids that they will remember for years! Of course it's our doing until they can learn about money and do some chores to earn the money to buy thier gift and understand what they are doing. But it's fun to start now!
