New Years Eve

We headed to Washington to ring in the new year! It was a nice little getaway. I love that we live so close and are able to do that. As we were driving and we were entering the Tri-Cities there was snow everywhere and Keenan says " the snow is so beautiful" and it really was. They were lucky enough to have it snow on that Saturday evening so before church my dad took Niko and Keenan out on the sled behind the 4-wheeler around the house for a bit then built a snow fort with them. My dad is always so good to take the kids and make memories with them. Luckily we were able to borrow some of seth and heathers kids snow clothes forthem.

Beckys sister Mary was getting married onSaturday so heather, Trisha, my momand I went to go help with hair then went for a girls day! We went to eat at Olive Garden and had a bit of time to spare so we ran over to the mall real quick where I got a new pair of boots. We met up with my dad for Les Miserables. We split up afterthe movie and I headed back to Heathers house and went with them to Marys reception then we went to eat atApplebees. Juan had the kids during the day at Seths house then after our movie he went to go visit a friend. For the first couple of days each of us were out and about doing our ownthing. There are so many people to visit and so we kinda have to split our time that way.
We were able to go see Ana on Sunday evening and have dinner with them. They are currently living with Mendezs again so that they can get everything ready for thier new house to be put in. Very exciting for them! Eric Castillo was also visiting with hiswife so it was fun to catch up.
New years Eve was a fun evening when Colby and Tysons family came out to party with us.We played a few rounds of headbandz and that was a lot of fun. Lots of laughs. Trisha had prepared minute to win it games and adults and kids could all join in on that fun! Colby left about 11 pm and Tysons family stayed to watch the ball drop.

Tuesday was the McGary family party but it was so different this year. Seems to be getting smaller and smalller as the years go on. Could also be that grandmas not there to harass everyone to be there. Miss that lady! We headed home after that and were ready to get back to a shcedule. Kids loved staying up past bedtimes, hanging with cousins, watching movies, and making memories with the ones we kove most!
