Work

Some days I feel like a complete failure on the topic of work! Not on my end of work but trying to teach my kids to work. We clean the house everyday that is just something we do. Some days Keenan doesnt want to do anything but play, or hes too tired, or his back hurts... Or while working outside he is so slow at doing things and gets distracted. He cant clean his room alone and always needs help! So annoying since it is a constant daily battle to get his room clean. But yesterday, I told him I was not.going to help him today and showed him what he needed to do, simple to just throw the toys in the toybox. I left him at that and went and showered. When i came out he tells me,
"mom come here I need to show you something"
I go in and his room is almost all clean! He was so proud of himself!
"I cleaned it all up mom! Sometimes I love cleaning!"
I couldnt but help and laugh a little bit. I told him I was so proud of hin and he just agrees. I am so not raising a city boy that doesnt want to do anything. I guess the most important thing is Im trying. Thats all I can do right!
Another thing he said the other day while I was driving him to school was he was going to buy daddy a  truck when he filled his jar to the top with money. Such a big thing for a little guy! I love that little boy like crazy!
