This boy is mending quite well these days! We went to Shriners twice last week to get him in the tub and stretch his legs out. He absolutely loved getting in the tub! They said that most kids just cry in there because they have been in a cast for so long and bending the legs/hips really hurt. And it does hurt him when he comes out of his cast on a daily basis. We just have to put a pillow under his legs a bit. We have also been able to get him in our tub at home which he loves too! Tonight we put him in his regular wheel chair, no.braces on and he dis great! He was ready to.put the braces back on though and get comfy again. He has been sleeping lots better but loves having one of us right next to him. He defenitly likes the comfort. I am sending him to school tommorow for a part day to see how he does and as well as Thursday. I think he will do great and he is ready to go back!
