Easter

 

We had a fabulous Easter weekend! Juan and I invited our friends Nicole and Jeremy Riley to go to a Trailblazers game on Friday evening. We attempted to go to VooDoo Doughnuts but the line wrapped around and the wait would have been atleast an hour! So we headed back home. It was fun to get out and do something totally different then we have ever done together! Even though we were pretty much at the highest point at the Rose Garden.

 

Saturday we spent doing Easter Activites! We went to a Easter egg hunt at a grange in the country for kids with developmental disabilities. It was quick and over in about 5 minutes. You can see that the eggs were just put around in a field area but it was great for the kids!

 

 

 Keenan got a balloon hat from a clown there. Unfortunatly the other boys didnt get one because as soon we were up it was time for the egg hunt.

 Damon loved the 3 eggs he got! He kept trying to knock them out of his bucket!

 I debated back and forth on wanting to color eggs. I am so glad that we did! The kids loved it! I wish we had done more because we only did 12. And I would do a different coloring box then the one we got. Next year I think we will do kool aid!

 Keenan is such a good brother! He takes on so much responsibility that a 5 year old shouldnt. He is so well manered and so behaved lately! He sure is growing up!

 Waking up Easter Morning to see the goodies that were left out for them! Niko was the first one awake. He was thrilled with everything!

 Keenan was up next and was just as thrilled! He was so excited!

 It was such a gorgeous weekend! We were in the 70's all weekend! And we took advantage of being outside! After church we came home, started getting our dinner in the over, rolls and casseroles made, deviled eggs, and salad ready for our 4:00 time with Vicky and Juan.

 

We enjoyed riding bikes, roller blades, coloring with thier Easter chalk. After our dinner we went out again and walked/rode/roller bladed to the park! It was an absolutely great day! Vicky brought an agel foodcake with strawberries that we enjoyed after the park!

 

A funny story about Keenan. Juan took him in his car after we went to costco on Friday. As they were driving home and past a cemetery he says:

 

"Oh I have a great idea!"

Lets get shovels and dig those people up for the Jesus Prophet."

 

Well he picked up that we are ressurected a bit! Grateful for little kids sayings. We love our boys like crazy and think they are the greatest things!
