Juans Birthday Weekend

It is so much fun having Juan and I birthday close together! We always joke that I am older then him and a different age for 11 days. Because I went to Utah as part of my birthday, I wanted to make this birthday special for Juan too. So I had surprised him with a night in Seaside. I love being close to the beach! Only takes us a little over an hour to get there. We were going on an awesome weekend but the day we got there, Friday afternoon it was pretty windy and still cold. But we made the most out of it! We checked into our Hotel, Holiday Inn express, which was nice and cozy and pretty roomy! We walked down the strip and stopped for elephant ears, (a favorite of Juans) then had to get our tradition of salt water candy! They have tons and tons of flavors that really all taste the same :) Then we rented this little cart. You can see how cold the kids look!

We rented it for an hour but made it 30 mins. We just couldn't do it anymore!

We left Damon with his Respite worker for the day/night so we could enjoy doing things that we wouldn't be able to normally. Like renting this bike, walking down easily to the beach, swimming with the kids, and going to a movie. We went and watch Mr. Peabody and Sherman. It was cute and the kids liked it! Then we went and ate at the Pig and Pancake then came back and went swimming. Keenan had been waiting for the swimming part that we went again the next morning after Breakfast. It was a chill day and we ended up leaving about noon to head back.

Saturday was a really nice day and kinda bummed that we left early this day but we didn't want to get all sandy because we had reservations at Brazil grill at 4:45 that night.

We went to dinner with Juans sister and family, and his Cousin David and wife Melissa.
We ate for 2 hours! We were so full but it was such a blast!
