Valentines Day

Juan surprised me when he came home from school on Valentines day with a basket full of chocolate from a caramel place in Rigby, ID. Him and his friend went there during a break at school. I'm glad he spent the money on that and not on flowers. :) It HAD: 2 caramel apples flavored with butterfinger and the other snickers, 2 cake bites lemon and chocolate, and pretzel sticks! We have all been in heaven with it. Makes for a fun and yummy treat after dinners.

I made a fun dinner for us. I hate not having any of our stuff here or else I would have decorated the table all cute and I wasn't about to go buy anything. And really I didn't have a car this day. But it was fun anyways. I had let a young little chicken that I had sitting in seasonings, then roasted it for 3 hours and basting every 30 minutes, and then I roasted red potatoes with it and used the drippings to make a gravy. I also got a Cesar salad and garlic bread! It was pure yumminess and tasted like a roasted chicken from the stores!
