We put up our Christmas tree a few weekends ago and we are LOVING it! It is so fun having kids to enjoy holidays with. Finally Keenan is able to understand what is going on and that has been super fun! Damon loves to sit underneath and hit the ornaments or hang onto the branches. We had to run out when we were putting it up because half of our lights didn't work and we had not decorations. So we headed to Home Depot then to goodwill for the ornaments.
Juan was so excited to put up the tree! This is the first year that I can remember him helping and being excited! He also found out that this was his tree when he was growing up. I told him that when his mom left to Texas she wasnt going to take the tree and told us that we could have it. This made it extra special for him knowing this was his tree.
We have decided to stay home this Christmas. We have only had our own Christmas once since being married 8 years! This is the year! We are heading to back to Washington after but are excited to spend it together as our little family! I'm excited to see what traditions we make this year and how I can make this Christmas special for the kids! We are very excited!
You can see a little bit of our view from our apartment. We love it! Its so quiet and peaceful. We face a park and the colors and trees, and grass are so fun to see! We are loving living here so far and feel so grateful and appreciative for everything we have! We are looking forward to the rest of this month and some pretty exciting things are going to happen for our family!
