Day 5 and ready to go home!

Welp here we are!! Day 5 at the hospital. Things are looking up and were ready to get out of here. This hospital was very quiet and depressing this weekend. Not a whole lot goes on here and there are not too many patients here on thefloor. I am still amazed at this hospital though. To be able to do the things they do and are not making any money from us is amazing. Some things are drastically differnt though. We use our own medicines from home and our own formula and feeding pump, and we also feed on our own schedule and pace which is great!
Yesterday epidural and catheder were taken out. All meds except one are through his g tube which is all GO to head home. I think were just getting through the morning then we will be released. I am so grateful to live so close to the hospitals. So many years that we have lived hours away and I didnt get to see my family. Now that we are only about 30 minutes away its great to have them come visit. Juan and Vicky came one night for a couple hours and then Juan(husband) brought the boys yesterday since it was getting lonely. They have a game room that has pool, foosball, air hockey, video games, puzzles, painting stuff, and toys. The boys loved it! Then we walked through the maze to go eat at OHSU hospital which is connected to Shriners. By maze I mean wehad to walk through parts of the hospital that are learning clinics for students. And through all the long hallways down levels and finally were there. Someone came over and wanted to tell us how good ourboys were. I am grateful for well behaved boys when we are out... for the most part!
I am wondering how I will change his diaper, and move him from place to placeduring the day. I tried ithere and its hard! Hope we can make it on our own!!
