Here we go! We were working on our fireplace last Saturday when all of a sudden Niko falls and smacks his forehead on the edge of the brick. We didnt see blood right off and I thought he hit a box that was right there but nope! Blood was soon dripping everywhere!!! He had just made a huge gash right in the middle of the forehead horizontally. It was deep enough to see the meat. Yuck! He was crying and we were trying to figure out what we were going to do. I didnt think we had butterly bandages to hold it together so I was telling him go to the neighbors. But he ended up finding a first aid kit and there was a clear big bandage there that was able to keep it together. We went back and forth on should we go to the hospital or not. We did decide to take him after calling Seth and telling him what happened. So off him and I go. He was a champ! No stitches and only super glue stuff with steri strips. He laid there and let them do whatever they needed. He is such a strong little guy. He got a sucker after and we were off with a story and pictures to tell! It has only just begun!
